About Me
Hi, I am Lee Douglas.
I am originally from down in Swindon, Wiltshire, but these days I am proud to call Bradford home and spend my weeks gigging all over Yorkshire and beyond.
I picked up my first guitar when I was just nine years old. Fast forward twenty five years, and I am still just as obsessed with it. I have spent a massive chunk of my life playing in and out of various bands and gigging in pretty much every type of venue you can imagine (well, maybe minus the stadiums!), before finally settling into what I love most: being a full time solo acoustic covers artist.
For me, live music is all about keeping things simple and authentic. Whether I am playing for a lively Friday night bar crowd or setting the perfect mood for a wedding reception or restaurant my setup is always just me, a microphone, and an acoustic guitar. I just love taking the songs people know and love and stripping them back to basics to create a brilliant atmosphere.
Alongside my regular gigging, I am also really excited to now offer acoustic guitar lessons for absolute beginners. I remember exactly how daunting it was to hold a guitar for the first time, so I wanted to open up my home space to give people a completely relaxed, zero pressure environment to finally learn their first chords.
Have a look around the site, and if you are looking for some live acoustic music for your next event, or you fancy learning how to play, just drop me a message!
